Terms of use

In short

• FlyDown searches for cheap flights for you, and, if you ask, for nearby cities to visit by bus, and alerts you when it finds deals within your budget.
• FlyDown does not sell tickets and is not a travel agency: you always book on the airline's or FlixBus's website.
• Prices are indicative and may change: always check the total before you pay.
• The Basic plan is free. Paid plans cannot be purchased at the moment.

1. Who provides the service

FlyDown is a service operated by Domenico Pasquale, Via Pola 18B, 75012 Bernalda (MT), Italia (VAT no. IT01391390778) ("FlyDown", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@getflydown.com. By using FlyDown you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. What FlyDown does

FlyDown lets you create watches: you choose departure airports, destinations, dates, budget and airlines, and the service checks prices periodically, shows you the deals that match your rules and, if you ask, alerts you with a notification. For the watches where you switch it on, it also suggests itineraries for visiting other cities near your destination, using FlixBus journeys.

Check intervals depend on your plan and the overall request limit for airlines. For Basic and current gifted Plus plans, after 7 days without activity checks run no more often than every 12 hours; after 14 days, no more often than every 24 hours. A longer interval you selected stays unchanged. Logins, visits and actions on alerts linked to your account count as activity; simply opening an email does not. After 21 days without activity, we pause searches and alerts while keeping your settings, unless your email is verified and email alerts are enabled: in that case, checks continue at the reduced frequency of at least 24 hours apart, even if you do not return to the site. When you return, the dashboard shows a notice and you can resume each watch with a button, within your plan limits and available capacity. Before a pause, returning restores your chosen interval. Founder accounts are excluded. When FlyDown is at capacity, a watch may be queued: we tell you in the app.

3. What FlyDown is not

FlyDown is not a travel agency, does not sell tickets, does not receive payments for travel and is not a party to the contract of carriage. When you tap "Book" or a bus journey, you open the website of the airline or of FlixBus: the booking, the final price, baggage, changes, refunds and passenger rights depend solely on that company and its terms and conditions.

4. Prices and information

• Prices, schedules and availability are collected automatically from public sources and from partners and may change at any time, including in the minutes between a check and your booking.
• Unless otherwise stated, the price shown is the base fare per person, without checked baggage or an allocated seat, and may not include charges added by the airline at checkout.
• Multi-city itineraries are calculated automatically. Before booking, check schedules, stops, transfer times from the airport and the margin before your return flight.
• We do our best to keep information correct and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete or accurate, or that every deal will be found and reported in time. The price that counts is the one you see on the airline's website at the time of payment.

5. Account

• To use FlyDown you must be of legal age and create an account with a valid email address. Each account is personal.
• For accounts created from 19 October 2026, email confirmation is required before signing in and starting searches. Watches set up during registration remain saved while you wait. Existing accounts retain the 7-day confirmation period, except for individual restrictions on invalid addresses.
• Keep your password confidential: you are responsible for what happens with your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and write to us.
• With the "Invite a friend" link, you and the person you invite each get one month of the Plus plan as soon as they have signed up through your link, confirmed their email address and created their first watch. Each link works for up to 10 sign-ups. Months you win add up. When a reward ends, active watches above your plan's limit are paused, starting from the most recent, without being deleted. Accounts created only to obtain rewards may be removed.

6. Plans

The Basic plan is free and includes one active watch at a time. The Plus plan includes up to 3 active watches, checks as often as every hour or every 2 hours (within the limits described in section 2), more frequent alert emails, custom alerts, the option to follow a specific flight and trip comparison. Plus is bought with a monthly subscription, on the terms below.

Plus subscription: purchase, renewal, cancellation and withdrawal

• Price: €2.99 per month, in euros: it is the price you see and pay on the payment page. There is no annual subscription.
• Payment: takes place on Stripe's secure page; FlyDown never sees or stores your card details. Plus starts when Stripe confirms the payment.
• Renewal: the subscription renews by itself every month, charging the same amount, until you cancel it. Stripe emails you a receipt for every charge.
• Cancellation: you can cancel any time from “Manage subscription” (the /billing page), with no penalty. Plus stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; then you go back to Basic and any watches over the limit are paused, starting from the most recent, without being deleted.
• Withdrawal (consumers): you have 14 days from the first purchase to withdraw, without giving a reason, by writing to [email protected]. Because Plus is a digital service that starts immediately, on the payment page we ask you to confirm you want it activated right away: if you withdraw within 14 days you pay only for the days already used and the rest is refunded.
• Failed payment: if a charge fails, Stripe retries for a limited time; if it keeps failing, Plus ends and you go back to Basic.
• Refunds: outside the withdrawal right, refunds are considered case by case by writing to [email protected].
• Deleting your account: if you delete your account we first stop the subscription and then delete the data; the last period already paid is not refunded automatically.
• If the price changes: we email you before applying a new price, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

The first time you try to turn on a watch beyond the Basic plan's limit, you receive the Plus plan as a gift, free for 30 days, once per account. At the end you go back to Basic: active watches above the limit are paused, starting from the most recent, without being deleted. The gift involves no payment and no renewal.

We may change the features and limits of the free plan; if a change significantly reduces what you can do, we will tell you in the app with reasonable notice.

7. Acceptable use

FlyDown is for personal use. You may not:

• automatically extract data or prices from FlyDown, resell them or use them for a competing service;
• create multiple accounts or use other tricks to get around plan limits;
• attempt to access other people's accounts, overload the service, circumvent its protections or use it for unlawful activities.

In the event of a breach, we may suspend or close the account, after notifying you where possible.

8. Notifications

Alerts reach you in the ways you choose: email, browser or app notifications, Telegram. They are optional and also depend on your device, your browser and third-party services (Google, Apple, Mozilla, Microsoft, Telegram). They may arrive late or not at all: do not rely solely on a notification for an urgent purchase decision.

9. Content, trade marks and links

• FlyDown's name, logo, mascot, graphics and software belong to its owner.
• The names and logos of the airlines and of FlixBus belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the service concerned. FlyDown is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies, except for the affiliate programme described below.
• Destination photos are used in accordance with their licence, with the author credited. The maps use public-domain Natural Earth data.
• Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience: we do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content. Some links to services that are useful at your destination (eSIM, transfer, tickets, car hire, luggage storage, insurance) are affiliate links: if you book through them, FlyDown receives a commission from the partner, at no extra cost to you. They are marked with the words "affiliate link". The "Book" button of some airlines (today Vueling) is also an affiliate link: if you book, the airline pays FlyDown a small commission. The price you pay is the same, and deals are not ordered on that basis. It is all explained in How FlyDown makes money.

10. Service availability

FlyDown is provided "as is". It may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or faults, and some features, airlines or data sources may be added, changed or removed. We may also decide to discontinue the service: in that case we will give you at least 30 days' notice, so you can download your data.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FlyDown is not liable for damage arising from incorrect prices or schedules, deals not reported or reported late, purchase decisions, cancellations, delays or other service failures by airlines, FlixBus or other third parties, or from interruptions of the service.

In any case, this does not affect liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence and for personal injury, or any rights that the law grants to consumers and that cannot be limited by contract.

12. Deleting your account

You can delete your account whenever you like from your profile, with "Delete account": you confirm with your password or, if you log in without a password, by typing your email address. Your data is erased as described in the privacy notice.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The version in force is always on this page, with the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated to you in the app before they take effect; if you do not accept them, you can delete your account.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the place where you reside, without prejudice to any more favourable protections provided by the law of the European Union country where you live.
